The Gospel

Jesus Changes Everything

If you are wondering where to begin, begin here. This is the message at the center of everything we believe and everything we are.

  1. Who Jesus Is

Jesus Christ is God revealed to humanity as Savior. He is the one in whom the fullness of the Godhead dwells, and there is salvation in no other name.

  2. Why We Need a Savior

Every person has sinned and fallen short of the glory of God. Sin separates us from Him, and nothing we can do on our own is able to bridge that distance.

  3. The Death, Burial, and Resurrection

Jesus Christ died for our sins, was buried, and rose again the third day. His death paid what we could not pay, and His resurrection is the ground of our hope.

  4. Repentance

Repentance is a genuine turning — a change of heart and direction, turning from sin and toward God, believing that He receives all who come to Him.

  5. Water Baptism

We believe in water baptism by immersion in the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ for the remission of sin. Through baptism we identify with the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ.

  6. Receiving the Holy Spirit

We believe in the Baptism of the Holy Spirit with the initial sign of speaking in other tongues, as the believers received on the day of Pentecost.

  7. Living as a Disciple

Following Jesus is a daily walk — growing in prayer and the Word, pursuing a lifestyle of holiness, and sharing His love with others within the family of the church.
