About Restoration
Restoration is a Spirit-filled church family in Lodi and Woodbridge, California — a place where people are welcomed as friends, grow as family, and encounter the restoring power of Jesus Christ.
Restoration is what God does. Throughout Scripture He takes what is broken and makes it whole — restoring faith, restoring families, restoring hope, and restoring people to Himself through Jesus Christ. Our name is not a description of what we have achieved. It is a declaration of what He is able to do.
That is why no one here is expected to arrive with their life already in order. You are welcome exactly as you are, and you are invited into a family that will walk with you as Christ does His work.
Restoration exists to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ with love, mercy, and compassion, lead people into a growing relationship with Him, and cultivate a Spirit-filled church family where lives can be restored.
To see individuals, families, and communities transformed by the Gospel of Jesus Christ and empowered by the Holy Spirit to live with faith, holiness, purpose, and hope.
Restoration is led by Pastor Richard Bishop, who serves our congregations in Woodbridge and Lodi.
Two Congregations
Woodbridge Congregation
Our Woodbridge congregation gathers each Sunday morning and Wednesday evening for worship, biblical preaching, and prayer. Visitors are always welcome.
Lodi Congregation
Our Lodi campus is being prepared, and we are looking forward to opening its doors. Service times will be announced here as soon as they are confirmed.
Our Church Family
I came to Restoration during one of the hardest seasons of my life. I did not expect to find a family here — but I did, and I found my way back to God in the process.
Baptism was the turning point for me. Standing in the water, I finally understood what it meant to leave my old life behind and start fresh in Christ.
Our marriage was struggling before we found this church. Through prayer, counsel, and a community that genuinely cared, God restored what we thought was beyond repair.
I grew up in youth group here, and it shaped everything about who I am. This church did not just teach me about Jesus — it showed me what following Him looks like.
I was not ready to use my name yet, but I needed to say it: this church walked with me through addiction recovery without a single moment of judgment. I am free today because of what God did here.
